New Bill Could Change Brown Bag Lunch Staple

Sunnyside -- A new bill started by Sunnyside Councilwoman Theresa Hancock, that would require teachers to attend allergy training and put emergency plans for students with severe allergies is being signed by Governor Gregoire today.

Though the bill is official there's still some work to be done.

The rules and guidelines for schools statewide are still being worked on but should be finished by next January.
