Teachers, Parents Showing Support For Superintendent

Toppenish -- Reportedly there were rumors about Toppenish Superintendent Steve Myers leaving his post.

So local teachers and parents sent out a letter asking people to attend the school board meeting and voice support for Myers.

Teachers claim the Toppenish School Board is giving Myers a hard time.

Barb Moses Toppenish Teacher says, "And with out a 100% of the School Board backing it's really hard for a visionary leader like himself to effectively lead a district."

We tried talking to Steve Myers but Action News was told he has no comment.

The Toppenish School Board says they're not seeking his resignation .
