YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police are searching for two men who may be involved in as many as three armed robberies in the last two days.
Police said two men broke into a woman's home Wednesday morning, strangled her and hit her with a handgun. They said she was beaten up but okay.
It happened on the 1200 block of South 7th Avenue.
They said the men got away with small items from the home. Police say those same men are responsible for two other robberies that occurred Tuesday. One was at the Dollar Store on Nob Hill Boulevard and the other near the Davis High School soccer fields.
Police have pulled two detectives from training to aggressively search for the suspects. They are described as two Hispanic males between 17 and 19 years old, thin and approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. They were wearing hoodies and baseball caps.
