YAKIMA -- A former Yakima basketball coach was back in court Tuesday months after he was charged with two counts of child rape.

Randy Sayler was charged with two counts of second degree child rape last fall when a teenage boy told police the trusted coach had molested him for years. A second alleged victim also came forward right away.

Now months after he was jailed on those charges, Sayler was back in court charged with about a half a dozen more similar charges, including child molestation and voyeurism.

The total now includes four alleged victims with similar stories of their former basketball coach.

The teens reported to police that many of the alleged incidents happened in Sayler's home.

Court documents say they'd wake up naked to find their own coach taking pictures or touching them.

The latest alleged victim told investigators Sayler began molesting him when he was just 12-years-old.

By 15, the boy claimed Sayler got even bolder and managed to abuse him while the boy's own father and Sayler's own son were all in one hotel room.

The same day these allegations came to light another teen told police he was just 10-years-old when Sayler touched him as he slept on his couch.

The alleged victim claims he screamed out, but Sayler told him to keep quiet or he'd "do it again."

Sayler coached soccer, baseball and a private basketball team. Many of Sayler's alleged victims played on his private basketball team in Yakima for more than 5 years, beginning when they were in 4th grade.

The boys were the same age as his own son, and told police they would stay the night at Sayler's home because they were friends with his son.

The alleged incidents also happened during away games, the Sayler's family trips and at a basketball summer camp at Gonzaga.

Sayler also volunteered as a football coach at West Valley Junior High.

He was described as a very active parent. Many people who knew Sayler told Action News they're shocked and feel manipulated and deceived by him.

Sayler's trial is expected to start next month, but he's likely to face it alone.

His family left town after his arrest last fall, and Sayler's wife has since filed for divorce.
