WEST RICHLAND -- A lot of venting, but still not enough answers for some West Richland residence.

Monday night, an overwhelming vote to re-locate the reservoir all together.

At the workshop meeting, people voiced their concerns about a 6-million gallon water storage pond, Columbia Irrigation District wants to put in a neighborhood.

Homeowners say, they don't want it and they let city officials and C.I.D. know how they really feel.

"We have property values at stake, miscommunication between elected officials and citizens , we have a lot of things that create emotions," said Chris Porter.

A lot of alternative ideas went back and forth at the meeting, including the idea of a pressurized pipe.

The Mayor will ask permission from council at the next meeting to talk to C.I.D about the ideas.

But residence just hope city officials will keep them updated on what's going on, this time around.
