YAKIMA -- That same teen, Cops claim is also wrapped up in a murder case.

YPD told Action News the homeowner on South 64th Avenue was justified in shooting the 17-year-old.

It was a shot to the arm that sent the kid to the hospital.

Police say the homeowner came home and caught the teen trying to steal his guns.

2 days later, Yakima Police released info that points to the same teen being involved in a murder last month.

He got out of the hospital yesterday.
