YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima is looking into expanding hiking and walking trails in the area.
The surveys you returned told the city you wanted more spots to enjoy the outdoors. A plan by Yakima Parks and Recreation involves improving current trails and connecting them to other regional paths. Initial studies estimate expansion will cost about ten cents a square foot.
City council will meet tomorrow to discuss the proposal.
