Yakima receives proposals for downtown master plan
YAKIMA, Wash. -- KIMA learned Yakima is moving closer to having a master plan for Downtown. It's now in the process of choosing a consultant to do the work.
Yakima received ten different proposals that could cost up to $130,000.
The master plan will establish development guidelines and describe how the city should attract new business.
Yakima will hold public meetings before adopting a final plan.
City council could pick a consultant next month.
