Yakima car crash causes fire

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Hundreds of homes lost power after a van crashed into a power pole here in Yakima.

The accident happened near Nob Hill Boulevard and Tenth Avenue. Police said the van's driver lost control and started a fire in a nearby yard after the collision with the utility pole. No one was hurt.
