Wapato field no longer a hang out for the homeless

WAPATO, Wash. -- Another mess near Wapato seems to be a lot better after KIMA took action for you.
We're following up on a field that was full of trash left behind by the homeless.
The Yakima Nation cut down every tree except one. Most of the trash has been removed.
Now, neighbors say they rarely see homeless people in the area making a mess.
"Since they knocked down the trees, you don't see them coming over here getting drunk or doing the things they were doing before," said neighbor, Guadalupe Torres.
