YAKIMA, Wa -- All the thunder and lightning seems to be sending pets on the run here in Yakima.
The humane society said it's seen a spike in lost animals. It said calls increased by about 10-percent since the storms. That's about five more calls a day for pets lost during the thunder. A lot of dogs get scared by the noise and run away.
If your pet is missing you can check online at the Yakima Humane Society's website. There are pictures posted. However, the humane society says it's better to check in person.
