YAKIMA, Wash. -- Teenage suspects from this week's kidnapping are now facing criminal charges as adults. They made their first court appearance today.

All four are either 16 or 17 years old. They face robbery and kidnapping charges. Police say they forced a 15-year-old girl into the trunk of a car as she headed to school Monday.

The girl used to date one of the suspects. She managed to escape by calling 911 from the trunk, helping officers track down the car.
