YAKIMA, Wash. -- It's a life in prison sentence for the Tacoma man convicted of raping and killing a Yakima woman.

Aaron Briden was found guilty of aggravated first degree murder last month for the death of Shelly Kinter.

Kinter's body was discovered in an alley. Prosecutors say Briden ran her over with his car.

We spoke to her family after the sentencing Thursday.

"It means everything," said Kinter's sister Teri Allen. "That's what we wanted and the prosecutor's office and everybody worked hard towards that and it was the result that we all wanted."

Briden was also convicted of robbery.
