YAKIMA, Wash. -- It will now cost kids to attend a city-run after school program at Roosevelt Elementary School.
Yakima City Council approved a $3 per day charge Tuesday night.
Up to 100-kids attend the "Beyond the Bell" after school program each day throughout the year.
Yakima blames budget issues.
The program costs the Parks Department about $60,000 a year.
