Services scheduled for Ken Messer

YAKIMA, Wash. -- There will be an opportunity for the public to pay respects to community icon Ken Messer. Messer, the former general manager of KIMA-TV, died Tuesday of lung cancer at the age of 70.
For those of you planning to pay your respects, there will be a viewing Sunday from 1 - 5 pm at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors in Yakima.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint Paul's Cathedral Monday at 11 am.
The family also requested sending contributions to the Yakima Valley Community Foundation instead of flowers.
