YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima's North Star Lodge Children's Hospital was the scene of a rock concert and hundreds of bikers Saturday.

It's an unusual mix, but it was all in the name of helping local patients.

It was the first ever Miracles and Mayhem. Yakima's bike league, the "Wrecking Crew" organized the charity event.

All money raised will go to Yakima's Miracle Children's Network.

"It doesn't go any place else in the country and it immediately starts treating local children," said Wrecking President, John Drakes.
"Some of which would not be alive today if they had not received financial assistance from the Children's Miracle Network."

Organizers say they raised several thousand dollars before the event even started.
