No settlement reached in Evans Fruit sexual harassment suit

YAKIMA, Wash. -- KIMA continues to follow the sexual harassment lawsuit against Evans Fruit. It appears mediation efforts hit a road block.

A clerk at the federal courthouse confirmed a settlement was not reached after two days of talks last week.

The case could go to trial if a settlement is not reached. A pre-trial hearing is set for next month.

Evans Fruit is being sued by the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
