New wine signs paying off for Yakima Valley wineries
ZILLAH, Wash. -- If you've been wine tasting recently, you probably noticed the new signs directing you to all the different wineries.

The signs have been in the works for over a year and have all been installed. They were modeled after signs in Sonoma Valley, California.

Visitors say the signs make it easier to get around.

"The wineries are more visible," said Two Mountain Winery Owner, Matt Rawn. "They are much more consistent and there aren't the hodge-podge, mismatched signs that were out there. The customers just think they make it look way more grown up right now."

The signs cost the county about $75,000. The old signs were designed back in the 80's.
