YAKIMA, Wash. -- There's a new radio station broadcasting in the Yakima. It's calling out to classic rock fans.

It's called The Hawk and it replaces Bob F.M. on the dial at 105.7. The old station touted itself as playing music from the 70s, 80s and whatever.

Now, The Hawk will play Classic Rock only. Managers of Radio Yakima says there is no station in the valley that consistently plays the genre.

"People are going to love it. It's going to be fresh and new and sometimes people just need a change a makeover if you will so that's what we've done. We've made over 105.7 and it's going to really rock," said Kelly Gasseling, Radio Yakima Market Manager.

Live DJ's will start in the next few weeks. The Hawk will play music with no commercials on Tuesday.
