New laws on the way for Yakima panhandlers
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima is narrowing down new laws to curb aggressive panhandling.

It would be banned at the busiest intersections. The idea is to make things safer for both drivers and panhandlers and limit how many people are asking for money.

Aggressive panhandling would also be a criminal offense.

City council will vote to finalize the new rules next month.
