Naches Valley students say iPads useless at home without internet
NACHES, Wash. -- Naches Valley students and parents say they're running into some problems with school-issued i-Pads.

Some say they don't have internet access at home to do homework on the iPads.

KIMA learned some homes are too remote to get a Wi-Fi signal.

Other families say they simply can't afford it.

We asked the superintendent what can be done.

"We will work with you. That we will ensure that your students have either the time and the space they need to be able to download the things they need at school before they go home," said Duane Lyons.

The Superintendent says students can take textbooks home instead.
