Moxee craft brewery nears completion
MOXEE, Wash. -- Construction on a new brewery near Moxee is almost done after breaking ground last summer.
You might have seen the large barn-like building while driving on Highway 24.
The Bale Breaker Brewing Company is building the 10,000 foot facility a few miles from its hops farm.
The company has grown hops here for 80 years and is excited to start brewing.
"It has a great feel. It really fits in with the area. And, yeah when the siding started going up and the building really started taking form, it really was just a 'wow' day," said Meghann Quinn, whose family owns the brewery.
Construction will wrap up over the next few weeks. The brewery is expected to open its doors in early spring.
