Many Yakima churches say they will refuse same-sex marriages
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Now that same-sex couples will soon be able to get married in Yakima, we wanted to see if local churches will go along.
Churches legally have the right to refuse the service. A lot of them around here say they won't allow gay weddings.
However, Rainbow Cathedral says it will marry any two people in love.
"I'm so passionate about it because you don't have to look like me, you don't have to act like me, you don't have to talk like me, you don't even have to bathe like me," said Reverend Bill Poores of Rainbow Cathedral. "And god forbid somebody tell me that you have to love who I love, other than loving everybody equally."
We did learn Yakima County has until December Sixth to adjust the wording on the current marriage license application. It's not clear what those changes are.
Approval for same sex marriage is holding on to 52 % support. If this holds up, the marriages can start December 6th.

And if you are going to Judge another person make sure you have truly your life and that you are not doing the things that you used to judge people about If not then shut up. EITHER CHANGE YOURSELF OR SHUT THE HELL UP. Yes there is evil in the world. but why not focus on our self instead of the whole world. what about your family your friends THINK PEOPLE THINK
I am not going to say who is right or who is wrong, But the bible clearly states in its writtings that it is okay to judge another person as long as you have changed something about yourself , like for example you used to smoke cigeritttes and you would judge another person because you would tell them that smoking cigerittes is wrong but you are also smoking its the same story Jesus spoke about the having the plank in your eye but you also notice that the other person Has the same problem as you but instead Judging them without changing and making someone else do something that you yourself wont do

In the bible it is ok as long as you don't put procrastination on someone else just to make a excuse for why you don't want to change yourself instead of putting the attention away from yourself
God also says you are not suppose to have pre-martial sex, nor cheat, nor steal. The Majority of people have done one if not more of those things. God also says not to judge, he loves all his children and when its "THEIR" time to come face to face with God he will be the one to say what was right and what was wrong. I not gay, but I do believe in equality amoung all and if people would start looking at themselves and judging themselves rather than judging people they do not even know this world would be a more happier place. Nobody is perfect and nobody shall judge anyone else. As for you people saying what God says let him speak for himself when its time, there is no need for you to speak on behalf of him.
Marriage between different races is not the same as marriages of same sex, I'm sorry. Gays have the right to do as the please, but it doesn't make it right. Especially in God's eyes.
The United Methodist church in Ellensburg also supports marriage equality. I know gay couples that are contributing to society. I can no longer believe the lies that I learned about gays when I was young. I want to encourage the stable relationships of marriage and not promote instability in society. Did you know that it was illegal for me to marry my current wife because she has a different skin color in about 20 states until about 1965? It took a supreme court ruling to eliminate that injustice.
It's still wrong, God never said same sex marriage, he put together MAN  and WOMAN. No matter how they want to justify it , IT IS WRONG. And think of the children raise in same sex marriages, aren't our kid confused enough, so now we want them to think its alright to marry the same sex. This world is messed up.
BTW I was raised by a MAN and a WOMEN. However, my little brother is being raised by a WOMEN and a WOMEN. If I got to choose which I would rather be raised in I would choose my little brothers life, because he is in a more loving, caring and stable home then I was in. Yes, this world is messed up, but not because Same-Sex couples can marry, but because this world is full of hateful cold hearted people who can do mean and messed up things to other human beings. You don't have to marry your same-sex, but why would you want to take away some else's happiness to make your life better? This world needs more people to worry about themselves God will deal with these people when it's their time. Try to be more open minded to things around you and get to know these people and your opinion might change. Also, God says pre-martial sex was wrong and people still do it, why aren't you judging them and telling them how wrong it is?

it's still wrong, and it will never be normal.
As is their right. I doubt there will be many gay people clamoring to get married inside a church that hates them anyway, so it's sort of a moot issue.
