Juvenile court layoffs anticipated to offset budget cuts
YAKIMA, Wash. -- KIMA dug even deeper into the cuts facing Yakima County's law and justice system.

We learned Yakima County's juvenile department will suffer the most in the court system. It will lose almost $220,000 next year.

A detention officer and a clerk will be fired.

Court administrators say if any more officers are cut, the facility will have to reduce its number of beds because there wouldn't be enough supervision of inmates.
