Healthcare clinic opens for city employees
YAKIMA, Wash. -- The City of Yakima celebrated the opening of a new in-house employee healthcare clinic.

The ribbon cutting was earlier today on South Third Street. The clinic will be the first of its kind in the state.

KIMA learned the idea for the clinic has been discussed for several years. It'll have two doctors and only be eligible for city employees.

The city manager says it'll benefit taxpayers because the money saved in healthcare costs will go back to Yakima.
