YAKIMA, Wash. -- The City of Yakima celebrated the opening of a new in-house employee healthcare clinic.
The ribbon cutting was earlier today on South Third Street. The clinic will be the first of its kind in the state.
KIMA learned the idea for the clinic has been discussed for several years. It'll have two doctors and only be eligible for city employees.
The city manager says it'll benefit taxpayers because the money saved in healthcare costs will go back to Yakima.

Boy, what a sweet deal.....the city just disintegrates around us and these folks celebrate their "free health care"....two doctors you say?...only for city employees?  Whats this going to cost US? What an unbelievable magic golden carpet ride for a bunch of folks who are now getting ready to do another deal with Joe Morrier downtown...?  It is absolutely beyond normal comprehension to me. It defies common logic and plain 'ol common sense. One more deal with 'ol Joe and all these perks and serious crime problems now plaguing this area, and Yakima will be in total ruins financially. Total insanity...
