Church hopes for record attendance in live Christmas play
YAKIMA, Wash. -- If you're looking for something festive to do this weekend you might want to check out a one-of-a-kind Christmas play.
It's the "Journey To Bethlehem" at Yakima's 7th Day Adventist Church is putting on the live show.
The half-hour play is filled with live animals, dozens of actors, and interactive sets.
Volunteers say the free show is a way to give back during the holiday season.
"We have animals. We have the smells. We have the sounds. We have the people. We're trying to make it really fun. A fun way to tell a story," Debbie Gilbert said.
Volunteers say they hope to beat least year's record of 5-thousand attendees. The play goes from 5 to 8:30 every night until Monday.

We went to this amazing play last weekend and had a great time! It's really fun when you interact with the actors. I highly suggest you attend next year.
