YAKIMA, Wash. -- A bus tour calling for immigration reform made a stop in Yakima today. The "Fast for Families" tour will cover 18 states and more than 75 congressional districts.

Today, the group got off the bus at Casa Hogar in Yakima. Locals were called to either fast every Wednesday or write a letter to their representative in Congress. Each speaker brought a personal story to their mission.

"I, too, immigrated to this country," said Sergio Lara, who is on the tour. "I am a Dreamer and also a doctor recipient, and so my family is still on the verge to see a path to citizenship."

The bus tour concludes in Washington, D.C., next month.
