YAKIMA, Wash. -- Kids from several Yakima elementary schools joined nearly 450,000 students across the planet to break a world record.

They got their hands moving to be part of the largest sport cup stacking event in the world.

Groups spent 30 minutes racing to stack these cups at the annual that grows every year.

Kids we spoke with had a blast.

"I like the little ones better because the big ones is complicated. And, the little ones you can do it fast," said Gilbert Elementary 4th grader Omar Mendoza.

No word yet if the kids set a new world record.
