YAKIMA, Wash. -- A big screen moment for Yakima will be on its way to the Yakima Valley Museum after spending years in a basement.

A custodian found this old movie poster at the bottom of City Hall a few years ago. The Hanging Tree staring Gary Cooper was shot in the Yakima area in 1958.

It was hanging in City Hall for a while. Now, its donated to the museum to join other mementos from the film.
