SELAH, Wash. -- Investigators say two people are in custody connected to recent burglaries and arsons of businesses in Yakima County.

KIMA learned Selah police arrested a man earlier this week, tied to the fire and burglary at Tidrick's Transmissions in Union Gap, as well as an attempted arson at a business in Selah.

Detectives won't release his name, but say he was booked into the Yakima County Jail.

They arrested another suspect weeks ago accused of using financial information stolen from the transmission business.

"I feel pretty violated anyway, especially my mechanics. They lost a lot of their equipment. We've had a tough time just being in business in our shop since then," said R & Q Parts & Machine Owner Kevin Quesnell.

Investigators say they traced the illegal activity to Oregon and that federal agencies are also on the case.
