YAKIMA, Wash. -- The cold weather didn't stop hundreds of people in Yakima from leaving the house to support those who've served our country.

The Annual Yakima Veteran's Day parade kicked off just before 11:00 Sunday morning.

Several ROTC and school bands marched down Yakima Avenue. There were also several groups of veterans and VFW floats.

People watching the parade wore their red white and blue and waved American flags to show support.

"I have a lot of respect for our troops," said Anthony Emerson, while watching the parade. "They support our country and they do things a lot of people wouldn't. So I wanted to come our and show my respect for all the veterans and our troops that serve our country."

KIMA also marched in the parade. This was the 92nd time this parade was held in Yakima..
