Abby joined the KIMA/KEPR Action News team in July 2012 after graduating from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at WSU. Go Cougs! There, she reported and anchored for Cable 8 News, student-run nightly newscast.

During the last year, she covered stories that ranged from the oldest red-tailed hawk on record to student debt and Initiative 1183. Abby also gained experience by acting as talent for a variety of the student-run television shows and KUGR radio. For experience behind the camera, she interned for Sony at the National Association of Broadcasters 2012.

In summer of 2011, Abby interned with CBS affiliate, KIRO-TV, in Seattle. There, she first learned to write, track and cut packages. She also acted as a social media producer for the live Seafair Twitter feed.

Abby grew up in Bellevue, Wash., home to her frequent Starbucks and hiking fix. She looks forward to getting to know the Tri-Cities community and she's always looking for a good story! Don’t hesitate to contact Abby with ideas.
