Kyle Trompeter is the weekend sports anchor and a weekday news reporter for Action News.

yle was born and raised outside Chicago.  He has a deep passion for sports, especially for his Cubbies, Bulls, and DA BEARS!  He was also a world class Honor Caddy at La Grange Country Club.

Kyle graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Telecommunications.  While at school in Muncie, IN, he was sports director at WIPB, along with Main Anchor and Executive Producer for Cardinal Sports Live.  Kyle was the play by play voice of Ball State women's basketball.  His favorite part of news reporting is finding creative ways to shoot his on camera appearances!

Kyle loves movies and you will often hear various movie and TV quotes dropped into his sportscast so be ready!  His favorite movies are Ghostbusters, Rocky, and Superman.  Sylvester Stallone and Christopher Reeve are his heroes in life!  

Kyle also loves playing golf.  He played on his high school team at Lyons Township High School (David Hasselhoff went there!).  Kyle typically shoots in the high 70's.  If you have a story idea, let Kyle know about it!  His email is kylet@keprtv.com
