Kristi Paulus comes to KIMA/KEPR with nearly 20 years experience in television news. For many years she worked as reporter in large cities such as Seattle and Sacramento covering events ranging from earthquakes, floods and snow storms to presidential campaigns, Boeing strikes and crime that affects our communities and our sense of safety.

Kristi's story mirrors countless others in the Tri-Cities. She moved to Richland in 2010 to take a job anchoring the news in Kennewick. She thought she would move on after three years, but instead discovered the Tri-Cities was not another stop on her journey as expected, but she had found her home for herself and her 7-year-old daughter.

Being a natural morning person, the morning news at KIMA/KEPR is a perfect fit for Kristi. She considers it a privilege and an honor to greet you in the morning with the news of the day, giving you the information you need to get your day started!

Kristi still lives in Richland in an alphabet house that she loves with her daughter, her new husband and stepson, and their two annoying cats.
