Steve Wellman

Steve Wellman is a veteran broadcaster with credits at stations across the West and Southwest. He holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism, and originally worked in radio to help pay his way through college.

In his career Steve has had many unusual and interesting assignments, from being an embedded reporter with a major metropolitan police gang task force, to covering U.S. Navy fleet operations from the back seat of an F/A-18 Hornet fighter. As a reporter and anchor Steve has covered several hurricanes including a flight in the NOAA hurricane hunter aircraft.

In his spare time Steve enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and fly fishing.
