Frances Watson is a native of Los Angeles, California. Frances earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Fullerton. She was a Hollywood entertainment writer for ABC’s On The Red Carpet during her internship.

After graduating, Frances continued writing as a freelance journalist. She was also a non-SAG working actress with Central Casting in Los Angeles. She appeared on shows like Cougar Town and CSI New York as an extra.

Frances is honored to be a member of the Action News team. In her free time she enjoys long distance running – especially half marathons, watching Days of Our Lives and singing to her dog.
